Is $1,000 a fair price for this job?

That looks like like 2 full loads
1000 is a good price
Not bad for that price it depends on location and your trailer size how many loads you need to haul to the dump
That's why you quote hourly price plus waste per tonne. Usually add 30% to the tip price.
It does depend on location but their is gas and dump fees. Plus everything you have to provide for the job ; truck, trailer, wheelbarrow etc. You cant do it for free you still gotta make a living
